![]() Its not a stomp, I'm saying that its the only way for Korra to put Katara down. It's way too simple as far as earthbending tactics go for the best waterbender in the series to fall too. If this were true, Toph, Bumi or even people like the Beifong sisters and Ghazan could casually stomp Katara due to the fact they can do the same thing. Quite frankly, she surpassed Katara in waterspout-speed. Most of Kataras feats are often times replicated by Korra. Thing being, Korra's waterbending isn't worse than Kataras by much. I truthfully dont see Katara reacting appropriately or defending appropriately against all of those attacks.Īhh. ![]() This still leaves earthlaunch, Korras superior speed, plain projectiles, and earth-crater. Mmmmm, now that I think about it, I could see (Katara stalemating the wave) working so i'll set this particular argument down. Good argument but the problem is Toph's wave was more like a.wave, Korras is like a shockwave and it travels differently. ![]() She has some of the most creative ways to get around and thats why i'm scared to argue for Korra (earth) vs Katara thats another reason why I was trying to put Korras speed out there. I The bigger issue for Korra is Katara's mobility. Furthermore, I'm not trying to say Katara is weak or not good enough, but it seems like she's not exactly capable of doing anything to protect herself from something like this: This is true, and its why I was trying to make it a point in my initial statement that Korra is pretty fast. It's way too simple as far as earthbending tactics go for the best waterbender in the series to fall still think that Korra can potentially one-shot via earthlaunch or earthwave even earth-pivot is a good move against Katara. If Korra manages to surprise her with a launch, it'd be over as Katara is the most durable character. I'm sorry, Katara has no real way of defending against the ground coming from underneath her. Korra's waterbending is better than her earthbending so Katara has a skill advantage. ![]() Katara's waterbending is better than Korra's. What does waterbending have to do with this? She did so against Toph's wave in the video I linked. Toph was half-playing and hers only threw Katara backwards a few ft. Korra wasn't half-playing and her launch ended up throwing that dude like 25 ft in the air. She knows how earthbenders fight and won't let something as simple as an earth launch defeat her. It might, but Katara's not going to sit there and let Korra attack her. Still think that Korra can potentially one-shot via earthlaunch or earthwave even earth-pivot is a good move against Katara. ![]()
